Semester Program
We guarantee an internship for every student admitted to our Semester Program who participates in our collaborative interviewing process. You’ll also take a professional seminar and up to two courses of your choice for academic credit, depending on the track you select. Deadlines

Some of our partner schools have earlier off-campus study application deadlines. Please check with your campus representative to confirm priority application deadlines and details at your home institution.

Application Checklist
  • Chicago Semester Application with all required signatures
  • 2 completed Recommendation Forms (preferably completed by a professor and/or employer)
  • Resume — Your CS track director/coordinator will assist with resume development. You can also find helpful tips here, as well as consult with your campus career development/services office.
  • Official Transcript
    • 3.0 GPA minimum is required for students seeking licensure in education and nursing
    • 2.5 GPA or higher is recommended for all other students including interdisciplinary, social work, educational studies, and micro interns. However, we review every application on its individual merits.
  • Application Fee of $50.00 (nonrefundable). After we receive all your application materials, you will receive an invoice via email. Your application will not be considered complete until the application fee is paid.
Admittance to Semester Program

Our application review process typically takes 7 business days after we receive your application. After admittance to the program, you will pay the $325 enrollment deposit to secure your spot for the semester. This fee is non-refundable. You’re welcome to check on the status of your application at any time by contacting Rocio Mendez-Rozo, Director of Enrollment, Partnerships and DEI Initiatives.
