Join the Story on Friday, April 12 as we celebrate 45 years!
This interactive evening at the American Writers Museum will include delicious food and drink, games, live music, a silent auction and book and wine pull. You won’t want to miss the highlighted opportunities below to give to Chicago Semester – check it out!
All of the proceeds will go towards our mission of providing urban, experiential education from a Christian perspective that equips students for integrated personal, professional and public lives.

This year when you participate in our wine pull you’ll also get to take a book home with you! Showcased books include bestsellers such as Austin Channing Brown’s I’m Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness and Lauren Wilkinson’s American Spy, as well as titles written by Chicago Semester friends such as Jonathan Brooks’ Church Forsaken and Lee Hardy’s The Embrace of Buildings. This year our silent auction will feature more exciting fine arts evenings at theaters such as the Court Theatre, Goodman Theatre and Lookingglass Theatre, as well as play dates for families at the Altitude Trampoline Park, Lincoln Park Zoo, and the Shedd Aquarium! Also included are opportunities to take mosaic classes at the Green Star Movement and enjoy a gift package of candles from Bright Endeavors.
