@nwciowa and Chicago Semester business and finance student Riley Van’t Hul! Riley is interning this semester at Cornerstone Community Outreach. Riley says about his experience, “I've had the privilege of working as an accounting intern at Cornerstone Community Outreach. Cornerstone is a nonprofit organization committed to raising the quality of life for low-income residents in the United States. Specifically, providing shelter for 330 people experiencing homelessness. I currently work in the accounting department alongside the CFO. I have finished August and September bank reconciliation and now, I’m working on October bank reconciliation along with many other accounting tasks. Interning at Cornerstone has been a great learning experience for me and I continue to grow in my technical and accounting skills within a non-profit organization." @nwc_studyabroad @nwc_compass_center @nwciowabusiness @riley_vanthul

Highlighting @centralcollege business student, Haley Jorgensen. Haley is interning this semester at @packedwpurpose. Haley says about her experience, “Working at Packed with Purpose has been an amazing learning experience. Since they are a startup corporate gifting company with a social impact, this time of year is busy! I have been given a variety of tasks from data analytics to purveyor outreach, all of which create an amazing impact in communities and on the environment. It makes me feel great to be working here. Being surrounded by such amazing and influential women has helped me to network around Chicago and soak up all of the business wisdom before stepping out into the business world." @centralcollegestudyabroad @hjorgs21
